• Thankful Thursday

  I'm thankful to God for rain last night. I can almost hear the trees sighing in delight.
  
  I'm about to pick up our first batch of meat birds. We're trying a new breed that takes longer to grow out, but will allow us to continue hatching our own. We couldn't do that with the last type of bird, which made us dependant on the hatchery. Hopefully it goes well.
  
  Visited with my sister in the city for our regular Wed. date with Dr. Who. We also watched From Prada to Nada which is a modern spin off of Sense and Sensibility, or as my Bee once called it "miserable and sad".
  
  Hope you're all having a great week.
