  • Gustav....

    A call for prayer:

    "
    Dear Family and Friends,
     
    Please forgive me if this information is a duplicate to some of you. I am asking you to not only pray for those within Gustav's path, but especially for my brother, Richard and wife Cathy who are leaving tomorrow for Monroe, LA to a hotel and will be traveling with their 5 children ages 9 down to 2 months. Please pray for safety and peace for them. Also, Cathy's mother, Diane, and brother Turo, are planning on staying as well. Please pray for their safety and salvation.
     
    Please especially remember my friends the P. family. April  will be going to friends in Northern MS tomorrow along with her daughter and son.  Her husband John, is a pump operator for Jefferson Parish a suburb to the west of New Orleans. John is under mandatory orders to stay through the storm He assures me that the pumping station he is in has 3 foot thick concrete walls and steel reinforcement as well. Please pray for his protection and peace. Pray that April rests in God's peace while her husband stays behind. 
     
    Please also pray for John's best friend,( and my friend), Daryl. He is refusing to leave his home and his family (his mother and brother) and has serious health issues. Please pray that he will do what is best for his family and himself.
     
    Thank you dear friends for petitioning our Great God, may His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
