  • Beware of "BusyBob"

So, we've got a few days of light load school until I get Term 2 and 3 hashed out.  Part of it includes reading & listening to Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan.

Today, Liz asked me who "BusyBob" is and why he wanted to kill Christian.  BusyBob? Uh....

"Yeah, BusyBob meets him on the road and says that he will get Chrisitan in the valley of the shadow of death. He's really creepy"

    Wait...wait a minute....Busy Bob...Busy Bob...Bealzebub! Ha! ahahahahahahahahaha.

Man do I love this kid. Busy Bob is out to get you. And he is busy, as well as....a bob. ;0).

We're off to the park for a short while after the girls finish their chores.

  • That's pretty funny!  Tell Mom that I've seen that neat video before.  I think it went around sometime last year.  I found it fascinating.

  • She's somethin' else, our Lizzy. Hugs and backrubs all around!

  • Your kids do say such cute stuff don't they? It is easy for them to misconstrue things and so important though to be listening to them carefully so you can fill the gaps in their understanding and knowledge well. Sounds like you are doing that very well.

Yes our year of homeschooling is buzzing past. I feel the push to do more algebra quick!!! Son is off taking a test in a history class and presenting a film of a puppet show he and a team are doing as a final in a literature class at the college. He is growing up at such a fast clip.Next year I will only have one to teach at home!

  • Okay, that's funny. For some reason I have "shuh-ROG" ringing in my ears...:frog: Kinda reminds me of my pregnancy hearing. R wrote those mis-hearings down for the first couple of kids. Now he just enjoys them. I guess that's a good thing. At least he's not recording them for posterity.

  • Awww! That's so sweet! I wish I could hug her! She had that little heart  tuned in anyway. And she wanted an explanation. I truly do miss the little girls. (Even though they are not quite so little now). , Each of them were so precious to me. Each in their own way> Like I told Heather , I do have Jolene and Mandy's children and I have learned to love them also. But it doesn't replace it only gives you more to love.

So glad your enjoying your new home! God is smiling on you Kathryn , and I'm so happy for you. Well I have a couple chores bedfore I can get my reading done, so better get busy.        P. S.  We're all awating your arrival in ?. Also there is room inside. You wouldn't be crouding any one. The big bedroom off of my room is empty. And I have the Air mattress for the ( one or ones) that doesn't sleep w/you. I think that is at least a queen sized bed. Maybe a  king (I'm not sure) We are all looking forward to seeing you. Hope Nan comes also. " Betsy  and Baxter too if possible". Baby will play them to death . But is not at all a viscious dog. Just a great big silly one. She loves kids too.    Goodnight:    sleepy:
