Part 2....the Kitchen...
Ok! Pictures of the re-do as it stands now, shame I didn't get some of the tear-out on camera, but I didn't want to make the installers nervous. First picture is looking through the closet door of the hall closet that no longer exists! :0). Next, is looking at that corner where the hall closet was. Now there are 3 cabinets and a plate rack, the only thing missing are the two bottom cabinets that will be a corner unit and wall unit which will be dropped down for the petite bakers....and of course, we're still debating on what to do with the door way.
check out my beautiful new stove! Thanks to the $500.00 appliance bonus included in the kitchen pkg. Another free bee! Woot! and , check out my pantry mock up. it has 3 cabinets and a drawer in the middle, and it's nice & deep!
Here is the sink by the windows. Of course, I'm missing counter top so far...and you can see all the newly exposed nasty wall that I have to paint to match my blue. Isn't it a beautiful and cheerful kitchen? No excuses for not baking up a storm now! Flooring will be put in after the kitchen and the other project for which we had to hire a general contractor...putting in a back door where we currently just have windows....are done. We're also trading out the fridge for one we currently have sitting in our shed. We'll be giving this one away first dibs to members of our church.Well, Isaac and I have finished working for today on the retaining wall-steps that I'm putting in our back yard, pictures of that will come along later.
Tonight Margaret is making me Stroganoff for dinner, and cake! Chocolate kalua or something like that, and I'm bringing the Spumante, my favorite birthday drink. After dinner we'll be going to the local school to do Contra Dancing, I'll bring my camera to get some pictures! This'll be great!
I'll post some of them maybe late tonight.
Have a great day on my Birthday!! te-he.

Chocolate Kahlua cake and Stroganoff? Oh my dear paws and whiskers. Yummers!
Happy, happy birthday, dearest!
I don't know where the "gorgeous" got off to up there! It's supposed to be between "looks" and "Kathryn."
Kathryn! Happy belated wishes ! But I did think of you and Nan both.Regarding your day. Sounds like you had royal treatment. We had gone to a birthday party at Jolene's for her oldest sons B.Day. So we can add an other to jan. 12th. He was a grand 5 years old and as proud as punch to have so many years under his belt. And besides, " if I'm allowed favorites" , he is it. Such a tender little spirit. Had a quite a lot of family members "Marla, Randy and I , Dickie ,her daughter nanette , Nanette's oldest daughter and and a couple ladies that I don't believe were relatves. Amand . hubby and Hensley. Randy's Mom Rose (Whom I like by the way) and a few others." It was fun . had lots of food and conversation.
Now for your house! I love it. Nothing like lot s and lots and lots of cabinet and storage space in a kitchen. Never could be too much as far as I was concerned. I fell in love with your French (?) Kitchen windows. I think they are so pretty. So glad God has blessed you so well honey! You sure have been tested severely. But there always is the sun ,which shines even if we can't always see it. Blessing from God! As you know.
Congrads on your wieght loss. It shows in the pics. Proud of you girl. Sounds like you are starting to get back up the hill honey. But I know it's been a hard climb. Praying that more blessings will be comming your way! l/u
